Salespeople need CRM most

So welcome back to the podcast. Today, we are joined by Aman. Aman, welcome to the podcast. Thank you so much, Zach. Thank you so much for having me. So why don't we start by you telling us a little bit about yourself yourself and what do you you guys do at Target Right. Integration. I present a company called Target Integration. We guys are CRM and ERP matchmaker. What does that mean is we help small and medium businesses find out the right CRM product for them to automate their entire CRM or ERP implementation journey. If you do not know what is a CRM and ERP software, consider this as an automation journey. Whatever business that you run, we help you automate it through existing softwares without reinventing the wheel. We have 700,000 CRMs and ERP tools in the market. So we help you find the best one, implement, customize, train, support, everything around it so that you have one point of contact for your whole journey towards automation. That's a big number, I must say. I thought it would be in maybe thousands.

Really not not that much. And are there any trends that you're seeing right now? AI. I think AI is the not just a buzzword, but it's a reality in our industry now. Everybody is talking about AI. Every CRM is intricating AI in their ecosystem, and every business is more and more getting excited to have AI Mhmm. Based system onboarded on their ecosystem. So AI is the buzzword, and I am seeing a lot of trends. So probably in a couple of years, the whole IT industry will go to a great revamp, and CRM will also be part of that. Okay. And how actually did you get into this industry? It's very interesting. It's been seventeen years. It's an I'm an accidental entrepreneur. It's my brother and I who started this business long, long, long back. So if if you ask a 20 year old me, then no. I never wanted to be here. But now when I'm here, I'm happy and excited, and it's going pretty well. Okay. Who would you say benefits most from your guys' services? Business owners. I would say well, let me let me break the myth. I would say the salesperson.

Mhmm. A contrary to the real expectation. People usually look at from a point of view that business owner will get the more benefit they do. No question about it. But it actually helps a salesperson more than the business owner when you have a right CRM system because, one, as a salesperson, you can really go out and show your effort. As a salesperson, people only look at you with your numbers, and sales closes you too. But nobody really go beyond the numbers that you close. A CRM can actually go out even though your numbers are not happening. It can show your manager, your top head bosses, and top of the end people that, yes, as a salesperson, you are putting effort. So the I in my eyes, the most benefiting person from CRM implementation is nobody else that I see at the Salesforce. Mhmm. That's an unexpected answer, I would say. I thought it will be the owner. But you mentioned AI. Right? How does AI come into place in the CRM world? A lot of things. For example, data enrichment. You can find out a lot of data about a person

with just a click of a button for which you might end up spending a lot of search hours. So that's one. Second, when you actively use your CRM, there are so many data inputs you get. You get a data from your email. You get a data from calls, text messages, and so many conversation that somebody has done with this customer. AI can summarize and give you a context in less than two nights so you know exactly what you need to talk about. Plus, in the sales and as a salesperson, the only one thing which does wonder is how much relatable you can be to your potential customer. So for example, if I know Zach's favorite sports is tennis and so is mine, I can run my initial conversation around tennis to win the trust for me to go forward. Now it is too much of an effort to find such kind of personal, nonpersonal information. AI can do this on quick. Plus, lot of time, customer judges you based on how much knowledge you have. If you have an AI

Take more risks

who can behave like a knowledge base for you and can answer those questions even before the customer really complete the sentence, it's doing wonders for you. What's been the biggest, like, challenge that you faced in this kind of industry that you're in right now? I think the challenge here is the ever evolving technology. I think when I started, there was no WhatsApp. When I started, there was no trip campaigns. So every now and then, you would see there's an upgradation in the technology. So as a business owner, as a follower of this industry, my suggestion to anyone who's trying to be a CRM consultant, Make sure you study more. Make sure you read more. Make sure you understand what's really happening in the world. And you can never be an expert because the moment you become an expert, new technology will come in. So keep on that. Keep on growing. Mhmm. And as you are a CRM expert. Right? What would you say are the best, let's say, CRMs that are, like, all around it and very thought out and good.

So some of the free tools that you can look at is one of them is Oodo, o d double o. They have an open ERP, open source version, and they also have a single user on cloud forever free that they say you then also have something called Vryno, v r y n o. It's a very specific CRM. They give you three user forever free. And if you still want to look for another open source system, which is VTiger, these are three systems which are open source or three available for any small business owners to use. Mhmm. Let's say that you have a magic wand. What would you change in your industry? In my industry. I think if I have a magic wand, the only thing that I'll change in my industry, that everybody writes their scope of work document very clearly, very understand I mean, with a lot of knowledge, I want everybody to know how to write their scoping documents. Interesting. And in terms of the vision for target integration over the next twelve months,

what are you guys planning to do? Like, what's the number one priority for you? I think the number one priority for us to hire more people. We are our hands are full, and we want to hire more and more people over a period of time. So have more partnership, have more people. Mhmm. If you had to give some kind of lesson that you've learned in the past twelve months, it doesn't have to be industry related. What would that advice be? Take risks. Is take as many risk as you can. Uh-huh. Interesting. It is how anything works. You know, life is a gamble. If you just put $1 on stock, you'll only get one return $1 out. So put more, get more. And it's YOLO. Right? YOLO is not just for travel. YOLO is for business. YOLO is the way you think. So live more, try more. If you can, you get it. If you don't, that's the destiny. Mhmm. Okay. So if there are people that are listening that want to check you guys out, where should they go? Please go on Google. Look for Aman Takral or look for Target Integration.
